If an untrusted XML document was parsed in recovery mode and post-validated, the flaw could be used to crash the application. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2021-33560 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnupg and 1 more 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libgcrypt and 5 more 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Libgcrypt before 1.8.8 and 1.9.x before 1.9.3 mishandles ElGamal encryption because it lacks exponent blinding to address a side-channel attack against mpi_powm, and the window size is not chosen appropriately. This, for example, affects use of ElGamal in OpenPGP.
CVE-2021-3448 4 Fedoraproject, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more 4 Fedora, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 4.0 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in dnsmasq in versions before 2.85. When configured to use a specific server for a given network interface, dnsmasq uses a fixed port while forwarding queries. An attacker on the network, able to find the outgoing port used by dnsmasq, only needs to guess the random transmission ID to forge a reply and get it accepted by dnsmasq. This flaw makes a DNS Cache Poisoning attack much easier. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data integrity.
CVE-2021-38604 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Oracle 8 Fedora, Glibc, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function and 5 more 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In librt in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) through 2.34, sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/mq_notify.c mishandles certain NOTIFY_REMOVED data, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. NOTE: this vulnerability was introduced as a side effect of the CVE-2021-33574 fix.
CVE-2020-14343 2 Oracle, Pyyaml 2 Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment, Pyyaml 2024-02-28 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A vulnerability was discovered in the PyYAML library in versions before 5.4, where it is susceptible to arbitrary code execution when it processes untrusted YAML files through the full_load method or with the FullLoader loader. Applications that use the library to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw. This flaw allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system by abusing the python/object/new constructor. This flaw is due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2020-1747.
CVE-2021-3177 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more 2024-02-28 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
Python 3.x through 3.9.1 has a buffer overflow in PyCArg_repr in _ctypes/callproc.c, which may lead to remote code execution in certain Python applications that accept floating-point numbers as untrusted input, as demonstrated by a 1e300 argument to c_double.from_param. This occurs because sprintf is used unsafely.
CVE-2020-27619 3 Fedoraproject, Oracle, Python 3 Fedora, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment, Python 2024-02-28 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
In Python 3 through 3.9.0, the Lib/test/multibytecodec_support.py CJK codec tests call eval() on content retrieved via HTTP.

The pip package before 19.2 for Python allows Directory Traversal when a URL is given in an install command, because a Content-Disposition header can have ../ in a filename, as demonstrated by overwriting the /root/.ssh/authorized_keys file. This occurs in _download_http_url in _internal/download.py.
CVE-2020-1747 4 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Oracle and 1 more 4 Fedora, Leap, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment and 1 more 2024-02-28 10.0 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A vulnerability was discovered in the PyYAML library in versions before 5.3.1, where it is susceptible to arbitrary code execution when it processes untrusted YAML files through the full_load method or with the FullLoader loader. Applications that use the library to process untrusted input may be vulnerable to this flaw. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code on the system by abusing the python/object/new constructor.
CVE-2019-16786 5 Agendaless, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Waitress, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Waitress through version 1.3.1 would parse the Transfer-Encoding header and only look for a single string value, if that value was not chunked it would fall through and use the Content-Length header instead. According to the HTTP standard Transfer-Encoding should be a comma separated list, with the inner-most encoding first, followed by any further transfer codings, ending with chunked. Requests sent with: "Transfer-Encoding: gzip, chunked" would incorrectly get ignored, and the request would use a Content-Length header instead to determine the body size of the HTTP message. This could allow for Waitress to treat a single request as multiple requests in the case of HTTP pipelining. This issue is fixed in Waitress 1.4.0.
CVE-2019-16792 3 Agendaless, Debian, Oracle 3 Waitress, Debian Linux, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Function Cloud Native Environment 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Waitress through version 1.3.1 allows request smuggling by sending the Content-Length header twice. Waitress would header fold a double Content-Length header and due to being unable to cast the now comma separated value to an integer would set the Content-Length to 0 internally. If two Content-Length headers are sent in a single request, Waitress would treat the request as having no body, thereby treating the body of the request as a new request in HTTP pipelining. This issue is fixed in Waitress 1.4.0.
CVE-2019-16789 5 Agendaless, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Waitress, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-02-28 6.4 MEDIUM 8.2 HIGH
In Waitress through version 1.4.0, if a proxy server is used in front of waitress, an invalid request may be sent by an attacker that bypasses the front-end and is parsed differently by waitress leading to a potential for HTTP request smuggling. Specially crafted requests containing special whitespace characters in the Transfer-Encoding header would get parsed by Waitress as being a chunked request, but a front-end server would use the Content-Length instead as the Transfer-Encoding header is considered invalid due to containing invalid characters. If a front-end server does HTTP pipelining to a backend Waitress server this could lead to HTTP request splitting which may lead to potential cache poisoning or unexpected information disclosure. This issue is fixed in Waitress 1.4.1 through more strict HTTP field validation.
