CVE-2022-23307 | 3 Apache, Oracle, Qos | 26 Chainsaw, Log4j, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 23 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.0 HIGH | 8.8 HIGH |
CVE-2020-9493 identified a deserialization issue that was present in Apache Chainsaw. Prior to Chainsaw V2.0 Chainsaw was a component of Apache Log4j 1.2.x where the same issue exists.
CVE-2022-23305 | 5 Apache, Broadcom, Netapp and 2 more | 28 Log4j, Brocade Sannav, Snapmanager and 25 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 9.8 CRITICAL |
By design, the JDBCAppender in Log4j 1.2.x accepts an SQL statement as a configuration parameter where the values to be inserted are converters from PatternLayout. The message converter, %m, is likely to always be included. This allows attackers to manipulate the SQL by entering crafted strings into input fields or headers of an application that are logged allowing unintended SQL queries to be executed. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use the JDBCAppender, which is not the default. Beginning in version 2.0-beta8, the JDBCAppender was re-introduced with proper support for parameterized SQL queries and further customization over the columns written to in logs. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
CVE-2022-23302 | 5 Apache, Broadcom, Netapp and 2 more | 26 Log4j, Brocade Sannav, Snapmanager and 23 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.0 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
JMSSink in all versions of Log4j 1.x is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration or if the configuration references an LDAP service the attacker has access to. The attacker can provide a TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configuration causing JMSSink to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-4104. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use JMSSink, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
CVE-2021-42575 | 2 Oracle, Owasp | 3 Middleware Common Libraries And Tools, Primavera Unifier, Java Html Sanitizer | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
The OWASP Java HTML Sanitizer before 20211018.1 does not properly enforce policies associated with the SELECT, STYLE, and OPTION elements.
CVE-2021-42340 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 18 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Hci and 15 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
The fix for bug 63362 present in Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0-M5, 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.11, 9.0.40 to 9.0.53 and 8.5.60 to 8.5.71 introduced a memory leak. The object introduced to collect metrics for HTTP upgrade connections was not released for WebSocket connections once the connection was closed. This created a memory leak that, over time, could lead to a denial of service via an OutOfMemoryError.
CVE-2021-37714 | 4 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 16 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes.
CVE-2021-35043 | 3 Antisamy Project, Netapp, Oracle | 11 Antisamy, Active Iq Unified Manager, Banking Enterprise Default Management and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
OWASP AntiSamy before 1.6.4 allows XSS via HTML attributes when using the HTML output serializer (XHTML is not affected). This was demonstrated by a javascript: URL with : as the replacement for the : character.
CVE-2021-30129 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 9 Sshd, Banking Payments, Banking Trade Finance and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
A vulnerability in sshd-core of Apache Mina SSHD allows an attacker to overflow the server causing an OutOfMemory error. This issue affects the SFTP and port forwarding features of Apache Mina SSHD version 2.0.0 and later versions. It was addressed in Apache Mina SSHD 2.7.0
CVE-2021-23926 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 7 Xmlbeans, Debian Linux, Oncommand Unified Manager Core Package and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
The XML parsers used by XMLBeans up to version 2.6.0 did not set the properties needed to protect the user from malicious XML input. Vulnerabilities include possibilities for XML Entity Expansion attacks. Affects XMLBeans up to and including v2.6.0. |
