CVE-2022-0382 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
An information leak flaw was found due to uninitialized memory in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol subsystem, in the way a user sends a TIPC datagram to one or more destinations. This flaw allows a local user to read some kernel memory. This issue is limited to no more than 7 bytes, and the user cannot control what is read. This flaw affects the Linux kernel versions prior to 5.17-rc1.
CVE-2022-0330 | 4 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 46 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 43 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
A random memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU i915 kernel driver functionality in the way a user may run malicious code on the GPU. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-0322 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Oracle | 5 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
A flaw was found in the sctp_make_strreset_req function in net/sctp/sm_make_chunk.c in the SCTP network protocol in the Linux kernel with a local user privilege access. In this flaw, an attempt to use more buffer than is allocated triggers a BUG_ON issue, leading to a denial of service (DOS).
CVE-2022-0286 | 2 Linux, Oracle | 4 Linux Kernel, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function, Communications Cloud Native Core Network Exposure Function and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |

CVE-2022-0264 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's eBPF verifier when handling internal data structures. Internal memory locations could be returned to userspace. A local attacker with the permissions to insert eBPF code to the kernel can use this to leak internal kernel memory details defeating some of the exploit mitigations in place for the kernel. This flaws affects kernel versions < v5.16-rc6
CVE-2022-0185 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 17 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 HIGH | 8.4 HIGH |
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the legacy_parse_param function in the Filesystem Context functionality of the Linux kernel verified the supplied parameters length. An unprivileged (in case of unprivileged user namespaces enabled, otherwise needs namespaced CAP_SYS_ADMIN privilege) local user able to open a filesystem that does not support the Filesystem Context API (and thus fallbacks to legacy handling) could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-0171 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. The existing KVM SEV API has a vulnerability that allows a non-root (host) user-level application to crash the host kernel by creating a confidential guest VM instance in AMD CPU that supports Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV).
CVE-2022-0168 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 4.4 MEDIUM |
A denial of service (DOS) issue was found in the Linux kernel’s smb2_ioctl_query_info function in the fs/cifs/smb2ops.c Common Internet File System (CIFS) due to an incorrect return from the memdup_user function. This flaw allows a local, privileged (CAP_SYS_ADMIN) attacker to crash the system.

CVE-2022-0019 | 2 Linux, Paloaltonetworks | 2 Linux Kernel, Globalprotect | 2024-11-21 | 1.9 LOW | 4.7 MEDIUM |
An insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability exists in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect app on Linux that exposes the hashed credentials of GlobalProtect users that saved their password during previous GlobalProtect app sessions to other local users on the system. The exposed credentials enable a local attacker to authenticate to the GlobalProtect portal or gateway as the target user without knowing of the target user’s plaintext password. This issue impacts: GlobalProtect app 5.1 versions earlier than GlobalProtect app 5.1.10 on Linux. GlobalProtect app 5.2 versions earlier than and including GlobalProtect app 5.2.7 on Linux. GlobalProtect app 5.3 versions earlier than GlobalProtect app 5.3.2 on Linux. This issue does not affect the GlobalProtect app on other platforms.
CVE-2021-4439 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isdn: cpai: check ctr->cnr to avoid array index out of bound The cmtp_add_connection() would add a cmtp session to a controller and run a kernel thread to process cmtp. __module_get(THIS_MODULE); session->task = kthread_run(cmtp_session, session, "kcmtpd_ctr_%d", session->num); During this process, the kernel thread would call detach_capi_ctr() to detach a register controller. if the controller was not attached yet, detach_capi_ctr() would trigger an array-index-out-bounds bug.
