In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0 on Windows, when supplying custom headers to mail() function, due to mistake introduced in commit 78f4b4a2dcf92ddbccea1bb95f8390a18ac3342e, if the header is supplied in lowercase, this can result in double-freeing certain memory locations.
CVE-2019-11044 3 Fedoraproject, Php, Tenable 3 Fedora, Php, Securitycenter 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0 on Windows, PHP link() function accepts filenames with embedded \0 byte and treats them as terminating at that byte. This could lead to security vulnerabilities, e.g. in applications checking paths that the code is allowed to access.
CVE-2020-7060 5 Debian, Opensuse, Oracle and 2 more 5 Debian Linux, Leap, Communications Diameter Signaling Router and 2 more 2024-02-28 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
When using certain mbstring functions to convert multibyte encodings, in PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.27, 7.3.x below 7.3.14 and 7.4.x below 7.4.2 it is possible to supply data that will cause function mbfl_filt_conv_big5_wchar to read past the allocated buffer. This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2019-11045 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0, PHP DirectoryIterator class accepts filenames with embedded \0 byte and treats them as terminating at that byte. This could lead to security vulnerabilities, e.g. in applications checking paths that the code is allowed to access.

In PHP versions 7.3.x below 7.3.15 and 7.4.x below 7.4.3, while extracting PHAR files on Windows using phar extension, certain content inside PHAR file could lead to one-byte read past the allocated buffer. This could potentially lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2020-7063 4 Debian, Opensuse, Php and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Leap, Php and 1 more 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
In PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.28, 7.3.x below 7.3.15 and 7.4.x below 7.4.3, when creating PHAR archive using PharData::buildFromIterator() function, the files are added with default permissions (0666, or all access) even if the original files on the filesystem were with more restrictive permissions. This may result in files having more lax permissions than intended when such archive is extracted.
CVE-2015-2326 4 Mariadb, Opensuse, Pcre and 1 more 4 Mariadb, Opensuse, Pcre and 1 more 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
The pcre_compile2 function in PCRE before 8.37 allows context-dependent attackers to compile incorrect code and cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via regular expression with a group containing both a forward referencing subroutine call and a recursive back reference, as demonstrated by "((?+1)(\1))/".
CVE-2010-4657 3 Debian, Php, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Php, Enterprise Linux 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
PHP5 before 5.4.4 allows passing invalid utf-8 strings via the xmlTextWriterWriteAttribute, which are then misparsed by libxml2. This results in memory leak into the resulting output.
CVE-2019-13224 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more 2024-02-28 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A use-after-free in onig_new_deluxe() in regext.c in Oniguruma 6.9.2 allows attackers to potentially cause information disclosure, denial of service, or possibly code execution by providing a crafted regular expression. The attacker provides a pair of a regex pattern and a string, with a multi-byte encoding that gets handled by onig_new_deluxe(). Oniguruma issues often affect Ruby, as well as common optional libraries for PHP and Rust.
CVE-2019-11041 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more 7 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 4 more 2024-02-28 5.8 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH

This may lead to information disclosure or crash.
CVE-2019-9640 6 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 3 more 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH

CVE-2017-7189 1 Php 1 Php 2024-02-28 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
main/streams/xp_socket.c in PHP 7.x before 2017-03-07 misparses fsockopen calls, such as by interpreting fsockopen('127.0.0.1:80', 443) as if the address/port were 127.0.0.1:80:443, which is later truncated to 127.0.0.1:80. This behavior has a security risk if the explicitly provided port number (i.e., 443 in this example) is hardcoded into an application as a security policy, but the hostname argument (i.e., 127.0.0.1:80 in this example) is obtained from untrusted input.
