In libxml2 before 2.10.4, parsing of certain invalid XSD schemas can lead to a NULL pointer dereference and subsequently a segfault. This occurs in xmlSchemaFixupComplexType in xmlschemas.c.
CVE-2023-28466 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 7 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300s and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
do_tls_getsockopt in net/tls/tls_main.c in the Linux kernel through 6.2.6 lacks a lock_sock call, leading to a race condition (with a resultant use-after-free or NULL pointer dereference).
CVE-2023-28321 | 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 14 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`.

CVE-2023-27635 | 1 Debian | 1 Debmany | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
debmany in debian-goodies 0.88.1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands (because of an eval call) via a crafted .deb file. (The path is shown to the user before execution.)
CVE-2023-27561 | 3 Debian, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Runc, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
runc through 1.1.4 has Incorrect Access Control leading to Escalation of Privileges, related to libcontainer/rootfs_linux.go. To exploit this, an attacker must be able to spawn two containers with custom volume-mount configurations, and be able to run custom images. NOTE: this issue exists because of a CVE-2019-19921 regression.
CVE-2023-27538 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 15 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libcurl prior to v8.0.0 where it reuses a previously established SSH connection despite the fact that an SSH option was modified, which should have prevented reuse. libcurl maintains a pool of previously used connections to reuse them for subsequent transfers if the configurations match. However, two SSH settings were omitted from the configuration check, allowing them to match easily, potentially leading to the reuse of an inappropriate connection.
CVE-2023-27536 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists libcurl <8.0.0 in the connection reuse feature which can reuse previously established connections with incorrect user permissions due to a failure to check for changes in the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option. This vulnerability affects krb5/kerberos/negotiate/GSSAPI transfers and could potentially result in unauthorized access to sensitive information. The safest option is to not reuse connections if the CURLOPT_GSSAPI_DELEGATION option has been changed.
CVE-2023-27535 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 14 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libcurl and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libcurl <8.0.0 in the FTP connection reuse feature that can result in wrong credentials being used during subsequent transfers. Previously created connections are kept in a connection pool for reuse if they match the current setup. However, certain FTP settings such as CURLOPT_FTP_ACCOUNT, CURLOPT_FTP_ALTERNATIVE_TO_USER, CURLOPT_FTP_SSL_CCC, and CURLOPT_USE_SSL were not included in the configuration match checks, causing them to match too easily. This could lead to libcurl using the wrong credentials when performing a transfer, potentially allowing unauthorized access to sensitive information.
CVE-2023-27530 | 2 Debian, Rack Project | 2 Debian Linux, Rack | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
A DoS vulnerability exists in Rack <v3.0.4.2, <v2.2.6.3, <v2.1.4.3 and <v2.0.9.3 within in the Multipart MIME parsing code in which could allow an attacker to craft requests that can be abuse to cause multipart parsing to take longer than expected.
CVE-2023-27522 | 3 Apache, Debian, Unbit | 3 Http Server, Debian Linux, Uwsgi | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
HTTP Response Smuggling vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server via mod_proxy_uwsgi. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.30 through 2.4.55. Special characters in the origin response header can truncate/split the response forwarded to the client.
CVE-2023-27372 | 2 Debian, Spip | 2 Debian Linux, Spip | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
SPIP before 4.2.1 allows Remote Code Execution via form values in the public area because serialization is mishandled. The fixed versions are 3.2.18, 4.0.10, 4.1.8, and 4.2.1.
CVE-2023-26314 | 2 Debian, Mono-project | 2 Debian Linux, Mono | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
The mono package before 6.8.0.105+dfsg-3.3 for Debian allows arbitrary code execution because the application/x-ms-dos-executable MIME type is associated with an un-sandboxed Mono CLR interpreter.
CVE-2023-26049 | 3 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp | 6 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 2.4 LOW |
Jetty is a java based web server and servlet engine. Nonstandard cookie parsing in Jetty may allow an attacker to smuggle cookies within other cookies, or otherwise perform unintended behavior by tampering with the cookie parsing mechanism. If Jetty sees a cookie VALUE that starts with `"` (double quote), it will continue to read the cookie string until it sees a closing quote -- even if a semicolon is encountered. So, a cookie header such as: `DISPLAY_LANGUAGE="b; JSESSIONID=1337; c=d"` will be parsed as one cookie, with the name DISPLAY_LANGUAGE and a value of b; JSESSIONID=1337; c=d instead of 3 separate cookies. This has security implications because if, say, JSESSIONID is an HttpOnly cookie, and the DISPLAY_LANGUAGE cookie value is rendered on the page, an attacker can smuggle the JSESSIONID cookie into the DISPLAY_LANGUAGE cookie and thereby exfiltrate it. This is significant when an intermediary is enacting some policy based on cookies, so a smuggled cookie can bypass that policy yet still be seen by the Jetty server or its logging system. This issue has been addressed in versions 9.4.51, 10.0.14, 11.0.14, and 12.0.0.beta0 and users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
