CVE-2021-41183 | 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 36 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 33 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of various `*Text` options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various `*Text` options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `*Text` options from untrusted sources.
CVE-2021-41182 | 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 37 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 34 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.1 MEDIUM |
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `altField` option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `altField` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `altField` option from untrusted sources.
CVE-2021-22118 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware | 32 Hci, Management Services For Element Software, Commerce Guided Search and 29 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
In Spring Framework, versions 5.2.x prior to 5.2.15 and versions 5.3.x prior to 5.3.7, a WebFlux application is vulnerable to a privilege escalation: by (re)creating the temporary storage directory, a locally authenticated malicious user can read or modify files that have been uploaded to the WebFlux application, or overwrite arbitrary files with multipart request data.
CVE-2021-33037 | 4 Apache, Debian, Mcafee and 1 more | 22 Tomcat, Tomee, Debian Linux and 19 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.46 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.66 did not correctly parse the HTTP transfer-encoding request header in some circumstances leading to the possibility to request smuggling when used with a reverse proxy. Specifically: - Tomcat incorrectly ignored the transfer encoding header if the client declared it would only accept an HTTP/1.0 response; - Tomcat honoured the identify encoding; and - Tomcat did not ensure that, if present, the chunked encoding was the final encoding.
CVE-2020-26237 | 3 Debian, Highlightjs, Oracle | 3 Debian Linux, Highlight.js, Mysql Enterprise Monitor | 2024-02-28 | 4.9 MEDIUM | 8.7 HIGH |
Highlight.js is a syntax highlighter written in JavaScript. Highlight.js versions before 9.18.2 and 10.1.2 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. A malicious HTML code block can be crafted that will result in prototype pollution of the base object's prototype during highlighting. If you allow users to insert custom HTML code blocks into your page/app via parsing Markdown code blocks (or similar) and do not filter the language names the user can provide you may be vulnerable. The pollution should just be harmless data but this can cause problems for applications not expecting these properties to exist and can result in strange behavior or application crashes, i.e. a potential DOS vector. If your website or application does not render user provided data it should be unaffected. Versions 9.18.2 and 10.1.2 and newer include fixes for this vulnerability. If you are using version 7 or 8 you are encouraged to upgrade to a newer release.
CVE-2020-17530 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 8 Struts, Business Intelligence, Communications Diameter Intelligence Hub and 5 more | 2024-02-28 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Forced OGNL evaluation, when evaluated on raw user input in tag attributes, may lead to remote code execution. Affected software : Apache Struts 2.0.0 - Struts 2.5.25.
CVE-2021-22112 | 3 Oracle, Pivotal Software, Vmware | 8 Communications Element Manager, Communications Interactive Session Recorder, Communications Unified Inventory Management and 5 more | 2024-02-28 | 9.0 HIGH | 8.8 HIGH |
Spring Security 5.4.x prior to 5.4.4, 5.3.x prior to 5.3.8.RELEASE, 5.2.x prior to 5.2.9.RELEASE, and older unsupported versions can fail to save the SecurityContext if it is changed more than once in a single request.A malicious user cannot cause the bug to happen (it must be programmed in). However, if the application's intent is to only allow the user to run with elevated privileges in a small portion of the application, the bug can be leveraged to extend those privileges to the rest of the application.
CVE-2021-3450 | 10 Fedoraproject, Freebsd, Mcafee and 7 more | 35 Fedora, Freebsd, Web Gateway and 32 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 7.4 HIGH |
The X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT flag enables additional security checks of the certificates present in a certificate chain. It is not set by default. Starting from OpenSSL version 1.1.1h a check to disallow certificates in the chain that have explicitly encoded elliptic curve parameters was added as an additional strict check. An error in the implementation of this check meant that the result of a previous check to confirm that certificates in the chain are valid CA certificates was overwritten. This effectively bypasses the check that non-CA certificates must not be able to issue other certificates. If a "purpose" has been configured then there is a subsequent opportunity for checks that the certificate is a valid CA. All of the named "purpose" values implemented in libcrypto perform this check. Therefore, where a purpose is set the certificate chain will still be rejected even when the strict flag has been used. A purpose is set by default in libssl client and server certificate verification routines, but it can be overridden or removed by an application. In order to be affected, an application must explicitly set the X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT verification flag and either not set a purpose for the certificate verification or, in the case of TLS client or server applications, override the default purpose. OpenSSL versions 1.1.1h and newer are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1h-1.1.1j).
CVE-2021-25122 | 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle | 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Plm and 9 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
When responding to new h2c connection requests, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 could duplicate request headers and a limited amount of request body from one request to another meaning user A and user B could both see the results of user A's request.
CVE-2020-5421 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Vmware | 38 Oncommand Insight, Snap Creator Framework, Snapcenter and 35 more | 2024-02-28 | 3.6 LOW | 6.5 MEDIUM |
In Spring Framework versions 5.2.0 - 5.2.8, 5.1.0 - 5.1.17, 5.0.0 - 5.0.18, 4.3.0 - 4.3.28, and older unsupported versions, the protections against RFD attacks from CVE-2015-5211 may be bypassed depending on the browser used through the use of a jsessionid path parameter.
CVE-2021-25329 | 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle | 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Plm and 9 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
The fix for CVE-2020-9484 was incomplete. When using Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41, 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 or 7.0.0. to 7.0.107 with a configuration edge case that was highly unlikely to be used, the Tomcat instance was still vulnerable to CVE-2020-9494. Note that both the previously published prerequisites for CVE-2020-9484 and the previously published mitigations for CVE-2020-9484 also apply to this issue.
CVE-2020-17527 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 12 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Element Plug-in and 9 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
While investigating bug 64830 it was discovered that Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0-M1 to 9.0.39 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 could re-use an HTTP request header value from the previous stream received on an HTTP/2 connection for the request associated with the subsequent stream. While this would most likely lead to an error and the closure of the HTTP/2 connection, it is possible that information could leak between requests.
CVE-2019-0230 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 5 Struts, Communications Policy Management, Financial Services Data Integration Hub and 2 more | 2024-02-28 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Apache Struts 2.0.0 to 2.5.20 forced double OGNL evaluation, when evaluated on raw user input in tag attributes, may lead to remote code execution.
CVE-2020-9484 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 26 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 23 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
When using Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M4, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.34, 8.5.0 to 8.5.54 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.103 if a) an attacker is able to control the contents and name of a file on the server; and b) the server is configured to use the PersistenceManager with a FileStore; and c) the PersistenceManager is configured with sessionAttributeValueClassNameFilter="null" (the default unless a SecurityManager is used) or a sufficiently lax filter to allow the attacker provided object to be deserialized; and d) the attacker knows the relative file path from the storage location used by FileStore to the file the attacker has control over; then, using a specifically crafted request, the attacker will be able to trigger remote code execution via deserialization of the file under their control. Note that all of conditions a) to d) must be true for the attack to succeed.
CVE-2020-13935 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 18 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
The payload length in a WebSocket frame was not correctly validated in Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.36, 8.5.0 to 8.5.56 and 7.0.27 to 7.0.104. Invalid payload lengths could trigger an infinite loop. Multiple requests with invalid payload lengths could lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2020-13934 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 14 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
An h2c direct connection to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M5 to 9.0.36 and 8.5.1 to 8.5.56 did not release the HTTP/1.1 processor after the upgrade to HTTP/2. If a sufficient number of such requests were made, an OutOfMemoryException could occur leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2020-11996 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 8 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A specially crafted sequence of HTTP/2 requests sent to Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M5, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.35 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.55 could trigger high CPU usage for several seconds. If a sufficient number of such requests were made on concurrent HTTP/2 connections, the server could become unresponsive.
CVE-2020-1967 | 10 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 7 more | 26 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f).
CVE-2019-0233 | 2 Apache, Oracle | 5 Struts, Communications Policy Management, Financial Services Data Integration Hub and 2 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
An access permission override in Apache Struts 2.0.0 to 2.5.20 may cause a Denial of Service when performing a file upload.
CVE-2019-17563 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 11 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 8 more | 2024-02-28 | 5.1 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
When using FORM authentication with Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.29, 8.5.0 to 8.5.49 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.98 there was a narrow window where an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The window was considered too narrow for an exploit to be practical but, erring on the side of caution, this issue has been treated as a security vulnerability. |
