CVE-2019-19391 2 Luajit, Moonjit Project 2 Luajit, Moonjit 2024-11-21 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
In LuaJIT through 2.0.5, as used in Moonjit before 2.1.2 and other products, debug.getinfo has a type confusion issue that leads to arbitrary memory write or read operations, because certain cases involving valid stack levels and > options are mishandled. NOTE: The LuaJIT project owner states that the debug libary is unsafe by definition and that this is not a vulnerability. When LuaJIT was originally developed, the expectation was that the entire debug library had no security guarantees and thus it made no sense to assign CVEs. However, not all users of later LuaJIT derivatives share this perspective
CVE-2019-17675 2 Debian, Wordpress 2 Debian Linux, Wordpress 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
WordPress before 5.2.4 does not properly consider type confusion during validation of the referer in the admin pages, possibly leading to CSRF.
CVE-2019-17639 1 Eclipse 1 Openj9 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
In Eclipse OpenJ9 prior to version 0.21 on Power platforms, calling the System.arraycopy method with a length longer than the length of the source or destination array can, in certain specially crafted code patterns, cause the current method to return prematurely with an undefined return value. This allows whatever value happens to be in the return register at that time to be used as if it matches the method's declared return type.
CVE-2019-17026 2 Canonical, Mozilla 4 Ubuntu Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Incorrect alias information in IonMonkey JIT compiler for setting array elements could lead to a type confusion. We are aware of targeted attacks in the wild abusing this flaw. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4.1, Thunderbird < 68.4.1, and Firefox < 72.0.1.
CVE-2019-17017 4 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 6 more 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Due to a missing case handling object types, a type confusion vulnerability could occur, resulting in a crash. We presume that with enough effort that it could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4 and Firefox < 72.
CVE-2019-15792 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-11-21 4.6 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
In shiftfs, a non-upstream patch to the Linux kernel included in the Ubuntu 5.0 and 5.3 kernel series, shiftfs_btrfs_ioctl_fd_replace() calls fdget(oldfd), then without further checks passes the resulting file* into shiftfs_real_fdget(), which casts file->private_data, a void* that points to a filesystem-dependent type, to a "struct shiftfs_file_info *". As the private_data is not required to be a pointer, an attacker can use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2019-14537 1 Yourls 1 Yourls 2024-11-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
YOURLS through 1.7.3 is affected by a type juggling vulnerability in the api component that can result in login bypass.
