This made a timing attack possible to determine valid user names. Note that the default configuration includes the LockOutRealm which makes exploitation of this vulnerability harder.
CVE-2017-17427 | 1 Radware | 2 Alteon, Alteon Firmware | 2024-02-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
Radware Alteon devices with a firmware version between 31.0.0.0-31.0.3.0 are vulnerable to an adaptive-chosen ciphertext attack ("Bleichenbacher attack"). This allows an attacker to decrypt observed traffic that has been encrypted with the RSA cipher and to perform other private key operations.
CVE-2017-5753 | 13 Arm, Canonical, Debian and 10 more | 387 Cortex-a12, Cortex-a12 Firmware, Cortex-a15 and 384 more | 2024-02-28 | 4.7 MEDIUM | 5.6 MEDIUM |
Systems with microprocessors utilizing speculative execution and branch prediction may allow unauthorized disclosure of information to an attacker with local user access via a side-channel analysis.
CVE-2017-1000385 | 2 Debian, Erlang | 2 Debian Linux, Erlang\/otp | 2024-02-28 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
The Erlang otp TLS server answers with different TLS alerts to different error types in the RSA PKCS #1 1.5 padding. This allows an attacker to decrypt content or sign messages with the server's private key (this is a variation of the Bleichenbacher attack).
