CVE-2023-46739 | 1 Linuxfoundation | 1 Cubefs | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
CubeFS is an open-source cloud-native file storage system. A vulnerability was found during in the CubeFS master component in versions prior to 3.3.1 that could allow an untrusted attacker to steal user passwords by carrying out a timing attack. The root case of the vulnerability was that CubeFS used raw string comparison of passwords. The vulnerable part of CubeFS was the UserService of the master component. The UserService gets instantiated when starting the server of the master component. The issue has been patched in v3.3.1. For impacted users, there is no other way to mitigate the issue besides upgrading.
CVE-2024-23170 | 1 Arm | 1 Mbed Tls | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS 2.x before 2.28.7 and 3.x before 3.5.2. There was a timing side channel in RSA private operations. This side channel could be sufficient for a local attacker to recover the plaintext. It requires the attacker to send a large number of messages for decryption, as described in "Everlasting ROBOT: the Marvin Attack" by Hubert Kario.
CVE-2023-6135 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Firefox | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
Multiple NSS NIST curves were susceptible to a side-channel attack known as "Minerva". This attack could potentially allow an attacker to recover the private key. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 121.
CVE-2021-21575 | 1 Dell | 1 Bsafe Micro-edition-suite | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |

CVE-2023-6258 | 1 Latchset | 1 Pkcs11-provider | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
A security vulnerability has been identified in the pkcs11-provider, which is associated with Public-Key Cryptography Standards (PKCS#11). If exploited successfully, this vulnerability could result in a Bleichenbacher-like security flaw, potentially enabling a side-channel attack on PKCS#1 1.5 decryption.
CVE-2024-25146 | 1 Liferay | 2 Dxp, Liferay Portal | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Liferay Portal 7.2.0 through 7.4.1, and older unsupported versions, and Liferay DXP 7.3 before service pack 3, 7.2 before fix pack 18, and older unsupported versions returns with different responses depending on whether a site does not exist or if the user does not have permission to access the site, which allows remote attackers to discover the existence of sites by enumerating URLs. This vulnerability occurs if locale.prepend.friendly.url.style=2 and if a custom 404 page is used.
CVE-2024-0202 | 1 Cryptlib | 1 Cryptlib | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
A security vulnerability has been identified in the cryptlib cryptographic library when cryptlib is compiled with the support for RSA key exchange ciphersuites in TLS (by setting the USE_RSA_SUITES define), it will be vulnerable to the timing variant of the Bleichenbacher attack. An attacker that is able to perform a large number of connections to the server will be able to decrypt RSA ciphertexts or forge signatures using server's certificate.
CVE-2023-38871 | 1 Economizzer | 1 Economizzer | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
The commit 3730880 (April 2023) and v.0.9-beta1 of gugoan Economizzer has a user enumeration vulnerability in the login and forgot password functionalities. The app reacts differently when a user or email address is valid, and when it's not. This may allow an attacker to determine whether a user or email address is valid, or brute force valid usernames and email addresses.
CVE-2023-21348 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
In Window Manager, there is a possible way to determine whether an app is installed, without query permissions, due to side channel information disclosure. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2023-21319 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
In UsageStatsService, there is a possible way to read installed 3rd party apps due to side channel information disclosure. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2023-5722 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Firefox | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Using iterative requests an attacker was able to learn the size of an opaque response, as well as the contents of a server-supplied Vary header. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 119.
CVE-2023-25529 | 1 Nvidia | 2 Dgx H100, Dgx H100 Firmware | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
NVIDIA DGX H100 BMC and DGX A100 BMC contains a vulnerability in the host KVM daemon, where an unauthenticated attacker may cause a leak of another user’s session token by observing timing discrepancies between server responses. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to information disclosure, escalation of privileges, and data tampering.
CVE-2022-25332 | 1 Ti | 2 Omap L138, Omap L138 Firmware | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 4.1 MEDIUM |
The AES implementation in the Texas Instruments OMAP L138 (secure variants), present in mask ROM, suffers from a timing side channel which can be exploited by an adversary with non-secure supervisor privileges by managing cache contents and collecting timing information for different ciphertext inputs. Using this side channel, the SK_LOAD secure kernel routine can be used to recover the Customer Encryption Key (CEK).
CVE-2023-21344 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
In Job Scheduler, there is a possible way to determine whether an app is installed, without query permissions, due to side channel information disclosure. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2023-41885 | 1 Piccolo-orm | 1 Piccolo | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Piccolo is an ORM and query builder which supports asyncio. In versions 0.120.0 and prior, the implementation of `BaseUser.login` leaks enough information to a malicious user such that they would be able to successfully generate a list of valid users on the platform. As Piccolo on its own does not also enforce strong passwords, these lists of valid accounts are likely to be used in a password spray attack with the outcome being attempted takeover of user accounts on the platform. The impact of this vulnerability is minor as it requires chaining with other attack vectors in order to gain more then simply a list of valid users on the underlying platform. The likelihood of this vulnerability is possible as it requires minimal skills to pull off, especially given the underlying login functionality for Piccolo based sites is open source. This issue has been patched in version 0.121.0.
CVE-2023-44216 | 7 Amd, Apple, Canonical and 4 more | 16 Ryzen 5 7600x, Ryzen 7 4800u, M1 Mac Mini and 13 more | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
PVRIC (PowerVR Image Compression) on Imagination 2018 and later GPU devices offers software-transparent compression that enables cross-origin pixel-stealing attacks against feTurbulence and feBlend in the SVG Filter specification, aka a GPU.zip issue. For example, attackers can sometimes accurately determine text contained on a web page from one origin if they control a resource from a different origin.
CVE-2023-21305 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2024-02-28 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
In Content, there is a possible way to determine whether an app is installed, without query permissions, due to side channel information disclosure.
