CVE-2021-40732 2 Adobe, Debian 2 Xmp Toolkit Software Development Kit, Debian Linux 2024-02-28 5.8 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
XMP Toolkit version 2020.1 (and earlier) is affected by a null pointer dereference vulnerability that could result in leaking data from certain memory locations and causing a local denial of service in the context of the current user. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the victim will need to open a specially crafted MXF file.
CVE-2021-40394 2 Debian, Gerbv Project 2 Debian Linux, Gerbv 2024-02-28 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the RS-274X aperture macro variables handling functionality of Gerbv 2.7.0 and dev (commit b5f1eacd) and the forked version of Gerbv (commit 71493260). A specially-crafted gerber file can lead to code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.

NULL pointer exception in the IEEE 802.11 dissector in Wireshark 3.4.0 to 3.4.9 and 3.2.0 to 3.2.17 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
CVE-2021-28714 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-02-28 2.1 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
Guest can force Linux netback driver to hog large amounts of kernel memory T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] Incoming data packets for a guest in the Linux kernel's netback driver are buffered until the guest is ready to process them. There are some measures taken for avoiding to pile up too much data, but those can be bypassed by the guest: There is a timeout how long the client side of an interface can stop consuming new packets before it is assumed to have stalled, but this timeout is rather long (60 seconds by default). Using a UDP connection on a fast interface can easily accumulate gigabytes of data in that time. (CVE-2021-28715) The timeout could even never trigger if the guest manages to have only one free slot in its RX queue ring page and the next package would require more than one free slot, which may be the case when using GSO, XDP, or software hashing. (CVE-2021-28714)
CVE-2021-46144 2 Debian, Roundcube 2 Debian Linux, Roundcube 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM

CVE-2021-21408 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Smarty 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Smarty 2024-02-28 6.5 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Smarty is a template engine for PHP, facilitating the separation of presentation (HTML/CSS) from application logic. Prior to versions 3.1.43 and 4.0.3, template authors could run restricted static php methods. Users should upgrade to version 3.1.43 or 4.0.3 to receive a patch.
CVE-2021-4019 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Vim 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Vim 2024-02-28 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
vim is vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow
CVE-2021-43534 2 Debian, Mozilla 4 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more 2024-02-28 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 93 and Firefox ESR 91.2. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 94, Thunderbird < 91.3, and Firefox ESR < 91.3.
CVE-2021-4058 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Google 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Chrome 2024-02-28 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Heap buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 96.0.4664.93 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-37963 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Google 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Chrome 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
Side-channel information leakage in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 94.0.4606.54 allowed a remote attacker to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-3872 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Vim 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Vim 2024-02-28 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
vim is vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow
CVE-2021-38022 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Google 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Chrome 2024-02-28 4.3 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
Inappropriate implementation in WebAuthentication in Google Chrome prior to 96.0.4664.45 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-28021 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Stb Project 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Stb 2024-02-28 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH

CVE-2021-28713 2 Debian, Xen 2 Debian Linux, Xen 2024-02-28 2.1 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
Rogue backends can cause DoS of guests via high frequency events T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] Xen offers the ability to run PV backends in regular unprivileged guests, typically referred to as "driver domains". Running PV backends in driver domains has one primary security advantage: if a driver domain gets compromised, it doesn't have the privileges to take over the system. However, a malicious driver domain could try to attack other guests via sending events at a high frequency leading to a Denial of Service in the guest due to trying to service interrupts for elongated amounts of time. There are three affected backends: * blkfront patch 1, CVE-2021-28711 * netfront patch 2, CVE-2021-28712 * hvc_xen (console) patch 3, CVE-2021-28713

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Gerber Viewer gerber and excellon GCodeNumber parsing functionality of KiCad EDA 6.0.1 and master commit de006fc010. A specially-crafted gerber or excellon file can lead to code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
