CVE-2022-4498 | 1 Tp-link | 4 Archer C5, Archer C5 Firmware, Tl-wr710n and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
In TP-Link routers, Archer C5 and WR710N-V1, running the latest available code, when receiving HTTP Basic Authentication the httpd service can be sent a crafted packet that causes a heap overflow. This can result in either a DoS (by crashing the httpd process) or an arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2022-4378 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's SYSCTL subsystem in how a user changes certain kernel parameters and variables. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-4291 | 1 Avast | 1 Script Shield | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
The aswjsflt.dll library from Avast Antivirus windows contained a potentially exploitable heap corruption vulnerability that could enable an attacker to bypass the sandbox of the application it was loaded into, if applicable. This issue was fixed in version 18.0.1478 of the Script Shield Component.
CVE-2022-4176 | 1 Google | 3 Chrome, Chrome Os, Linux And Chrome Os | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
Out of bounds write in Lacros Graphics in Google Chrome on Chrome OS and Lacros prior to 108.0.5359.71 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI interactions to potentially exploit heap corruption via UI interactions. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2022-4135 | 2 Google, Microsoft | 3 Chrome, Edge, Edge Chromium | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
Heap buffer overflow in GPU in Google Chrome prior to 107.0.5304.121 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2022-48847 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: watch_queue: Fix filter limit check In watch_queue_set_filter(), there are a couple of places where we check that the filter type value does not exceed what the type_filter bitmap can hold. One place calculates the number of bits by: if (tf[i].type >= sizeof(wfilter->type_filter) * 8) which is fine, but the second does: if (tf[i].type >= sizeof(wfilter->type_filter) * BITS_PER_LONG) which is not. This can lead to a couple of out-of-bounds writes due to a too-large type: (1) __set_bit() on wfilter->type_filter (2) Writing more elements in wfilter->filters[] than we allocated. Fix this by just using the proper WATCH_TYPE__NR instead, which is the number of types we actually know about. The bug may cause an oops looking something like: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in watch_queue_set_filter+0x659/0x740 Write of size 4 at addr ffff88800d2c66bc by task watch_queue_oob/611 ... CVE-2022-48743 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: amd-xgbe: Fix skb data length underflow There will be BUG_ON() triggered in include/linux/skbuff.h leading to intermittent kernel panic, when the skb length underflow is detected. Fix this by dropping the packet if such length underflows are seen because of inconsistencies in the hardware descriptors.
CVE-2022-48622 | 1 Gnome | 1 Gdkpixbuf | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
In GNOME GdkPixbuf (aka gdk-pixbuf) through 2.42.10, the ANI (Windows animated cursor) decoder encounters heap memory corruption (in ani_load_chunk in io-ani.c) when parsing chunks in a crafted .ani file. A crafted file could allow an attacker to overwrite heap metadata, leading to a denial of service or code execution attack. This occurs in gdk_pixbuf_set_option() in gdk-pixbuf.c.
CVE-2022-48570 | 1 Cryptopp | 1 Crypto\+\+ | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
Crypto++ through 8.4 contains a timing side channel in ECDSA signature generation. Function FixedSizeAllocatorWithCleanup could write to memory outside of the allocation if the allocated memory was not 16-byte aligned. NOTE: this issue exists because the CVE-2019-14318 fix was intentionally removed for functionality reasons.
